01 The job

What an advisor’s site has to do

Before reaching out, a prospective client wants to know whether you work for them, what it costs, and whether you serve people like them.

  • Say how you’re paid

Fee-only, fee-based or commission; flat fee, hourly or a percentage of assets. Stated plainly, with a link to your full fee schedule or ADV.

  • Say whether you’re a fiduciary

If you act as a fiduciary, say so clearly and explain in plain words what it means for the client.

  • Show who you serve

Retirees, physicians, business owners, young families: a clear picture of the clients you work best with, so the right people book.

  • Make the intro meeting easy to book

A calendar link for the first conversation on every page, with what the meeting covers and what happens after it.

  • Keep the required documents in reach

Links to Form ADV Part 2, Form CRS and your privacy notice where they apply, plus room for the disclosures your compliance review asks for.

02 How we work

See it first. Decide after.

You see your new homepage before you spend anything. Everything else happens by email, at your pace.

  1. A free homepage mockup

    First

Send us your current site. We design your new homepage on your real content and email it to you. No charge, and no obligation to go further.

  2. By email, calls optional

    Then

A one-page proposal with a fixed price, in writing. Questions answered by email; a 15-minute call only if you want one.

  3. Built in two to three weeks

    About

Once we have your content and photos: every page designed, written with you, tested on phones and checked for accessibility before launch.

  4. You own every file

    At launch

Your domain, content and code are yours, in the contract. If you ever leave, we hand everything over.

The whole process, step by step

03 Paying

Choose how you pay.

Your price is fixed and quoted in writing after your free mockup. How you pay it is up to you.

Three ways to payFixed price, quoted in writing
  • Half now, half at launch

Half when you approve the proposal, the rest when your site goes live.

  • All up front

One payment when you approve the proposal. Nothing is due at launch.

  • Monthly

Spread the build over monthly payments. The site launches on schedule, and every file is yours with the last payment.

A monthly care plan for hosting, updates and edits is available after launch.

04 Getting found

Local search basics, included.

Every site launches with the groundwork Google needs to understand who you are, what you do and where.

  • Business markup

Structured data that tells Google your business name, location, hours, phone and services, in the format it reads.

  • Titles and descriptions

A unique title and description for every page, written for the words your customers actually search.

  • Google Business Profile guidance

A checklist for your free Google listing: categories, services, photos, hours, and how to ask customers for reviews honestly.

  • Pages for who you serve

A page for each kind of client and planning service, like retirement income or planning for business owners, each with its own title and description.

We never promise a #1 ranking. Google decides rankings; we do the groundwork.

05 Questions

Fair questions.

Can you work with our compliance review?

Yes. We send the copy for review before launch and make the changes your compliance officer or broker-dealer asks for. You approve every line.

Can prospective clients book an intro meeting online?

Yes, through the scheduling tool you already use, or with a short request form that goes to your inbox.

Should we show our fees on the site?

That’s your decision. At minimum we explain how you are paid and link to your fee schedule or ADV. Showing actual numbers can help people who aren’t a fit see that before the first meeting.

Can the site show client testimonials?

Only real ones, and only in the form your compliance team approves under the SEC marketing rule, your state’s rules or your broker-dealer’s policy. We never write them.

Do you work with solo planners and small RIAs?

Yes. The concept design on this page is for a fictional planning practice, and the same approach works for a small team.

Do we need to get on a call?

No. Everything can happen by email: your free homepage mockup, a one-page proposal with a fixed price, your OK and a payment link. If you’d like a 15-minute call, we’re glad to.

Do we own the site?

Yes, in writing: your domain, your content and every file of code. If you ever leave, we hand everything over.
